1949 ACOME manufactures the first PVC insulated cables for the automobile.
1954 Design of telephone cables with plastic insulating sheaths. These sheaths have several alternating helically arranged colors.
1960 Launching of interference suppression cables on the market. ACOME fits out more than 30% of the French automobile inventory.
1976 The company becomes a leader in the use of electro-physical reticulation of polymers .
1981 ACOME develops a low temperature heated floor system. Thanks t o the reticulation process, the tubes used for manufacturing this product are particularly strong
1993 1st group to propose a major innovation: zero halogen cables for automobile wiring.
2000 Integration of optical fibering into manufacture.
2005 1st manufacturer to present a hydraulic thin-film heated floor system as a dry solution.
2006 ACOME engages in eco-design and founds the CETHD (Very High Rate Expertise Center), dedicated to ask experimenting and demonstrating optical technologies related to telecommunication infrastructures and construction wiring.
2008 Develops a dozen or so "eco-designed" products: these products have been optimized according to several parameters: manufacturing processes, raw materials, machine rates ...
